Who are The Earth Prize Volunteers?
The Earth Prize Volunteers can be anyone over the age of 18 passionate about sustainability and entrepreneurship, and looking for an opportunity to contribute to The Earth Prize Ecosystem and to be part of a global community, to share their knowledge, and to make a difference.

What is the role of the Volunteers?
The volunteers will broaden the awareness of the competition and support The Earth Prize Ecosystem in the local community. This can be done in many different ways, such as interacting with school and teachers, speaking to local media, participating in events, and many more.

How will the volunteering take place?
This is a fully remote opportunity. Volunteers will receive support on bi-weekly virtual meetings where we share knowledge and ideas, strategize, and celebrate our winnings - making this a fun experience!
Volunteers will get to meet The Earth Prize team and get the support from other volunteers in our international community.

Will I receive training?
Once they are appointed, Volunteers will receive a Volunteer Toolkit and any other necessary information so they are equipped for the role. Volunteers will not need specific training, as each of them is bringing their own experiences and resources to the community, and volunteering activities will be planned according to this.

What are the requirements to volunteer?
Volunteers must be 18 years old or older, comfortable speaking and writing in English, and able to contribute with at least 6 hours of volunteering per month.

Can I apply if I am under 18?

What if I do not want to continue to volunteer?
Volunteers can resign from the volunteer program at any time.

What is The Earth Prize Volunteer of the Month?
The Earth Prize will recognize one volunteer each month, who will be announced on our social media platforms.

You should be over 18 years old, be comfortable speaking english on calls and be able to contribute 6 hours per month.

When will I find out if I have been accepted or not?
Volunteers will receive an invitation to a brief virtual meeting to ensure this opportunity is a good fit for them.

How do I get started?
Once their application has been approved, Volunteers will be invited to participate in a welcome meeting for new volunteers. In this meeting, they will learn more about The Earth Prize and receive all the information they need to get started.
